David Watkins

Founder and Chief Scientific Officer

David Watkins is a Pathology professor at George Washington University. He is a fellow in the American Academy of Microbiology and recipient of the Elizabeth Glaser Scientist Award, a prestigious accolade for scientists performing research into the eradication of pediatric AIDS.
His research now focuses on the development of mAbs against infectious disease to prevent and treat yellow fever, dengue, Zika, Covid-19, and viruses from the betacoronavirus family.
He has 225 peer reviewed publications in top-ranked journals and is a former faculty member of Harvard University, the University of Wisconsin and the University of Miami.
David received his B.Sc. in Botany & Zoology from the University of Durham, a M.Sc. in Immunology from the University of Rochester, and Ph.D. in Immunology from the University of Rochester.
